While still holding the same general goals of the regular Thai Students Association, the undergrad division was formed in 1993 to provide a closer link to the university and also acknowledge the need for undergrad bonding in TSA. The TSA Undergrads (TUSA) work directly with organizations such as United Asian American Organizations (UAAO) and Michigan Student Assembly (MSA) which give TSA a voice on campus and in the APA community. The undergrads also play a major role in planning TSA events with the grads. TSA holds regular meetings and plans various workshops and events.
